Chiropractic Care
Chiropractors are trained to practice a natural, wellness-first, whole-body approach to health. We use a variety of non-invasive techniques to treat misalignments and interference in the spine and nervous system. Treatment offers relief and can encourage the body’s natural capabilities for healing.
As a chiropractic physician, I’m trained to treat subluxations, which are slight dislocations or misalignment of the bones in the spine. Subluxations can cause pain and discomfort, nerve inflammation, numbness and tingling, muscle weakness, and permanent degenerative changes.
In addition to traditional chiropractic care, I also offer sports medicine rehabilitation and treatment. My sports medicine patients seek me out for overuse issues and injuries sustained in training and competition. I also provide treatments and guidance for recovery to enhance athletic performance.
Active Release Techniques®
Active Release Techniques® (ART®) is a treatment method for problems in the body’s soft tissues, including the muscles, ligament, fascia, and nerves. ART® can break up restrictive adhesions, restore normal tissue flexibility and movement, and improve the entire kinetic chain—the “whole machine” of the body. Many elite athletes and professional sports teams include ART® providers on staff for this reason.
ART® sessions last 15-20 minutes. During a session, I’ll manipulate the injured tissue or structure into a shortened position and apply tension or pressure. When I lengthen it, I’m able to assess the tissue’s health. Detecting trigger points, muscle spasms, or scar tissue can help me determine and apply the ideal amount and direction of tension for effective treatment.
Results with ART® are often quick. The majority of athletic injuries respond very well to treatment, especially when it’s combined with suggested rehabilitation and strengthening exercises to do at home. Many patients report significant improvement in 4-6 treatments, though each case is, of course, unique.

Graston Technique®
Graston Technique® uses specially designed stainless steel instruments to mobilize soft tissues to break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. The technique detects and effectively treats areas with soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.
The Graston Technique® Instruments resonate in my hands, allowing me to isolate adhesions and restrictions and treat them very precisely. Additionally, because the instruments don’t compress like the fat pads of the fingers, deeper soft tissue restrictions can be accessed and treated.

Deep Tissue Laser Therapy
The Lightforce FX is scientifically proven to reduce pain and inflammation by stimulating photobiomodulation, a healing process at the cellular level. A high-wattage Class IV laser delivers therapeutic doses of infrared light to damaged tissue. Treatment is fast, safe, and painless, and most patients experience results after only a few sessions.

Dry Needling
Dry needling reduces pain and inflammation and improves muscle function. Thin filiform needles penetrate directly into the skin and muscle at a trigger point, a muscle knot that can contribute to pain, decreased flexibility, and decreased function. Once in the trigger point, the needle produces a twitch response that “resets” the muscle, reducing pain and inflammation. Electric stimulation is then added to the needle to restore muscle function.
Whole Body Cryotherapy
Whole body cryotherapy enhances athletic performance and recovery by combatting inflammation and promoting natural healing. Patients walk into the Impact Cryotherapy cryosauna wearing special boots, robe, and gloves. Liquid nitrogen is then pumped in to supercool the body’s outer tissues. Immersion in the dry cold lasts only three minutes but leaves patients feeling refreshed and invigorated.

Hyperbaric Chamber
Sessions in the hyperbaric chamber are designed to enhance the body’s natural healing and recovery processes. The patient inhales oxygen in a pressurized chamber, and the increased pressure allows the oxygen to more thoroughly saturate the blood. The oxygen supercharges the body’s natural capabilities, reducing inflammation and pain, improving bloodflow, and accelerating recovery from hard workouts and injuries.

Body Tempering
Body tempering is a technique that accelerates performance by combatting soft tissue restrictions and adhesions in muscles and fascia. A heavy steel cylinder (48-135 pounds) is placed over a tight or injured region of the body and rolled up and down—like a rolling pin—to break up muscle adhesions and trigger points. The rolling action also removes toxins that have built up in tissues. Body tempering speeds recovery from workouts and injuries, restores natural movement patterns, and is also helpful in preventative care.
Normatec Recovery System®
The Normatec Recovery System is a dynamic compression device designed for athletic recovery. The inflatable leg sleeves have five zones that systematically compress and pulse, working from the feet up to the hips to increase bloodflow, flush out toxins, and speed recovery after a race, competition, or tough training session.

Kinesiology Taping
Rocktape is a latex-free therapeutic taping technique to reduce pain, improve circulation, prevent re-injury, and enhance athletic performance. Strategic Rocktape application also promotes stability, which will restore normal muscular activation more quickly and protect against unwanted injury.
Rocktape is applied directly to the skin across joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. It’s elastic and waterproof and lasts 3-5 days.
